Chalk pipe

I found another chalk animation. This time with real people in it. I like when they finish drawing the pipe the guy took pictures one by one to make this animation. It seems like the guy really go into a 2D world and play the skate. The idea is simple but they achieve the 2D world feeling.

AUTUMN STORY

I like this animation because of the idea for the presentation. I really like the chalk animation on the blackboard and transfer to another blackboard. I wonder how did he do the animation. Did he draw one frame by one frame and i like the chalk track after one movement. I like the idea at the end when the girls transform back to human again and also the last shot showing all the blackboards.

hitchhikers choice

I really love this animation. I think the designer did a lot of work for it. I love the continuity, i think it's very smooth. He draws one by one and the result is cool and also I think he is creative. He did many different monsters and the animation is very long. I like the first part when he presses on the piano and the music notes jump.

x box stop motion

I like this animation because it's very smooth and also the idea is good. I think they also did some 3D effects on it. It seems difficult to do the skeleton and the spider but it works well. My favorite part is at the beginning when he separates the clay. I think it's interesting.

Hugo

I also watched this on stardust.tv in class. I really like the hand drawing buildings background and the guy is pretty good looking. After i watch this advertisement, I think it is not related to the perfume hugo. I like all the world coming out from the hugo bottle and the guy is interacting with the world.

Jpower

I watched this animation from stardust.tv. I like this animation. I think its showing the Japanese technology and transportation and also the future is moving on. I like the idea of the buildings surrounding the circle and its spinning and how the sky changed to the space. I can feel that the earth is moving. I like the visual art in this animation.

Food fight

This video is a little disgusting but the food seem very realistic and it's 3D. I realized hamburgers are the most strongest food in this animation. I don't get the idea of making this animation but the techniques are interesting. I have never thought of food fight and they are so powerful. Anyway, this animation is a little weird but i kinda like it.

Western Spaghetti

I really love this video. I have watched many times and I keep thinking how to make an animation like this. The ideas in this animation is very creative and new. I think the designer is very smart. My favorite parts are the money tree and the paper butter. Every steps make me hungry. This video is one of my favorites!!

raindrops

I like this animation. The whole animation is only using circles. Each of them is like small speakers and heart beats and I really like the colours as well. I tried to watch it with full screen and turn off the light. Even thought the video is long (3 mins) but it can make my brain blank and think of nothing, just watching the circles for 3 mins. If there is only 1 circle i think it's not powerful but with many circles it's very powerful to make me stopped to think. I have done the circle scales by itself according to the music in after effects in the last class. I really like this technique, using the same shape but different colours and size. It's simple and great.

Motion graphic reel

I have watched this show reel twice and I like it. The animation is great, i can see different techniques and also it's matching the music beat. It makes the viewer to focus on every single part of the animation. I like the colour combinations and the repeated graphics, also the style of the graphics.
